Anthropic published Claude Code v2.1.310 on GitHub at 07:39 Beijing time on October 24, 2026. On npm, @anthropic-ai/claude-code latest and next are 2.1.310 (registry time 05:20 Beijing time the same day); the stable tag remains 2.1.308.
Per the release notes, the Monitor tool and plugin monitors are now available on Bedrock, Vertex, and Foundry, and when telemetry or nonessential traffic is disabled; long foreground sleeps are blocked in those setups too.
If you pressed Enter on the VS Code plan-review card’s “Send feedback and keep planning” control and the plan was approved instead of your comments going back, 2.1.310 fixes that path so Enter follows the feedback action rather than approving the plan.
If background cleanup removed recent files—such as images you had just pasted—see whether `cleanupPeriodDays` is set to a very large value. The notes say that combination could delete recent files; 2.1.310 corrects it. Not every install uses that setting.
If requests fail behind some gateways or compatible servers that reject the `effort-2025-11-24` beta value or mid-conversation system messages, Claude Code now retries without those headers. Whether you hit this depends on the client, your settings, and the server in front of you.
The notes also list other fixes across compaction, permissions, Windows hooks, sandbox, Cloud sessions, Claude Tag, and Code Review.
For the prior patch and our notes on Claude Code limits, see Claude Code 2.1.309 and Claude Code usage limits.
For the Monitor tool on Bedrock, Vertex, and Foundry, and for the VS Code plan-review, `cleanupPeriodDays`, and gateway-retry paths above, we have not tested yet.
