Cloudflare has launched a preview of Clairic on Workers AI under the model id @cf/cloudflare/clairic. The company blog post is dated October 19, 2026. Cloudflare posted the announcement on X at 02:06 Beijing time on October 20, 2026.

What Clairic is

Cloudflare describes Clairic as the first System One extraction model: a single forward pass that reads a state and a schema of typed fields and returns one typed answer per field, without reasoning or generating tokens. According to Cloudflare, answers can be values read from the input, computed from it, or predicted beyond it. Field types listed in the changelog and docs include text, number, date, time, datetime, duration, list, estimate and forecast. Text answers can include character-offset spans; scalar answers include confidence and a probability that the value is missing; estimate and forecast answers include a median and an 80% interval.

Cloudflare says a request can include text plus up to four images. The Workers AI model page lists a 65,536-token context window and marks vision as supported.

Price and release status

The Workers AI changelog and model page price Clairic at $0.10 per million input tokens. Because Clairic generates no tokens, Cloudflare says there is no output token charge. Cloudflare frames the current endpoint as an early checkpoint and says the company intends to release the model with open weights soon. The changelog also notes limits such as weaker multi-step arithmetic and basic forecasting, and advises using confidence scores to decide what to automate.
