CodeRabbit says that through November 8, 2026, it will cover up to $5,000 in Deep Scan usage for any organization with two or more members, from a pool of up to $1 million that is first come, first served until that allocation runs out. Open-source projects, current or former customers, and teams that have never used CodeRabbit are all in scope per the official blog post dated October 24, 2026.
What Deep Scan covers
CodeRabbit Secure uses GPT 6.1 Sol and GPT Cyber. Related background on Sol’s speed tier: GPT-6.1 Sol Ultrafast: Price, Speed and Who Can Use It.
Deep Scan examines committed code across an entire repository. Per CodeRabbit, it maps the codebase, looks for vulnerabilities along code paths, reviews safeguards already in place, and uses semantic analysis to judge whether a finding is actually exploitable. An independent verifier re-checks each candidate finding and rejects anything the evidence does not support. Published findings include supporting evidence plus reachability and exploitability notes.
For eligible findings, CodeRabbit can draft a fix that follows standards already used in the codebase. A developer reviews the proposed change and remains responsible for what ships. CodeRabbit says Deep Scan is meant to sit alongside existing security tools—not replace them. For another take on continuous security review workflows, see Claude Security Review vs Continuous Scanning, What Changes for Your Workflow.
CodeRabbit also says it is now part of the OpenAI Daybreak Defense Network—a membership note in the same post, not a separate OpenAI product launch.
Who can claim it, and how
Eligibility is framed around organizations with 2+ members. While the $1 million allocation lasts, each such org can get up to $5,000 of covered Deep Scan usage through November 8, 2026.
To claim, the blog says: sign in or create an account, connect a repository, and run Deep Scan. Coverage and remaining pool depend on the live offer and account state on CodeRabbit’s official website.
