Cursor says DeepSeek V4.1 Flash is now available inside the Cursor IDE. The notice is a short product post on X, not a re-benchmark on this site.
What Cursor posted
On October 26, 2026 UTC (Beijing time October 27, 06:02), @cursor_ai wrote that DeepSeek V4.1 Flash is now available in Cursor. The same post says every effort level sits on the CursorBench cost frontier from $0.60 to $0.98 per task, and that “no model scores higher” in that band. Those dollars and the ranking claim are Cursor’s self-reported CursorBench numbers—for reference only, not a lab result on this site.
The post tells users to turn the model on under Cursor Settings → Models.
What is still unclear
The X post does not spell out whether Flash draws from the same subscription usage pool as other models, or any separate meter. Pricing and plan limits still follow Cursor’s product billing pages. This note also does not repeat local GPU/RAM results from Strata-style hardware pages as if they were Cursor-in-IDE scores.
