Anthropic has taken Code Review out of research preview. It's now generally available for Claude Team and Enterprise organizations. According to Anthropic's announcement, most reviews finish about three times faster than in preview, roughly 20 minutes down to 6 to 10 minutes, and admins can set each repository to Quick, Standard or Deep.

Code Review runs on Anthropic's side and looks at GitHub pull requests. Several agents read the change and the surrounding code, a verification step checks the findings, and Claude posts inline comments plus a check run named Claude Code Review. A review never approves or blocks the pull request. The feature needs a Team or Enterprise plan. It isn't available to organizations with zero data retention, and Anthropic says it isn't yet available for organizations that use customer-managed encryption keys.

There is no flat price per review. Anthropic's docs say Code Review is billed on token usage through usage credits, separately from the plan's included usage, and that cost scales with the review level, the size of the change, the complexity of the surrounding code and how many candidate issues need verification. Anthropic's help center says each review averages $15 to $25. Organizations can set a monthly spend limit for the Claude Code Review service.

Eligible paid Claude Enterprise organizations can claim promotional Code Review credits. Anthropic's announcement says they can claim at least $10,000 by January 15, 2027, and that the credits expire 30 days after the claim. The help article on the offer goes further: an Owner or Primary Owner claims once on the Code Review settings page, the amount is set at claim time between $10,000 and $50,000 based on active Claude Code seats, and the last moment to claim is 23:59 UTC on January 15, 2027. Anthropic also says to set up Code Review on your repositories before you claim, because the 30 days start whether or not reviews are running.

The offer isn't open to Claude Team, Pro, Max or Free plans, organizations billed through a reseller, organizations that have connected GitHub Enterprise Server or GitHub Enterprise Cloud with data residency, trials or canceled subscriptions, organizations that claimed an earlier free Code Review offer, or organizations that can't use Code Review. Credits only cover Code Review on github.com repositories, not the /code-review command in the CLI, Ultrareview, or self-hosted setups.
