Tibo says paid Codex users are getting another weekly usage reset

Tibo, who leads Codex and ChatGPT, posted on X that another reset is being sent to all paid users in the next 10 or so hours.

This reset refers to the weekly usage reset for paid Codex users. In plain terms, paid accounts are getting their weekly Codex quota refreshed again.

According to the post, one reset was already given yesterday. That means the practical takeaway for paid Codex users is simple: they can use up their remaining quota now, and then wait for the new free reset to arrive.

In the same post, Tibo also described “GPT-6 in Chat” as the big item of the day, and said Codex and ChatGPT Work reached 40 million active users. The post did not share more details about GPT-6 in Chat.
