At about 05:21 Beijing time on October 23, 2026, the Claude account on X said Claude Models on Google Cloud (Anthropic managed) is generally available. Google Cloud’s blog on the same calendar day announced the same option. DigIntoAI has not tested it.
Per Google Cloud, Anthropic operates the stack as the data processor on Google Cloud infrastructure under Anthropic’s terms, while organizations authenticate with Google Cloud IAM, keep Cloud Audit Logging, and consolidate spend under existing Google Cloud billing and eligible commitments. Google Cloud and Claude both say this path gives day-zero access to Claude Platform features, including Managed Agents (beta), skills, and code execution.
Compared with the existing Google-managed option, the main split is who acts as the data processor and whether Claude Platform features are available on day zero; Google Cloud says the Google-managed path remains available, with Google Cloud as data processor and Platform features rolling out after integration. For DigIntoAI notes on Claude on Google Cloud and related Claude tooling, see Google Cloud Gemini Agent, Claude API pricing, and Anthropic Agent Skills to AAIF.
We have not tested Anthropic-managed or Google-managed Claude on Google Cloud, and we have not verified IAM, audit logging, billing, commitment drawdown, or day-zero Platform features on a live account.
