At about 03:48 Beijing time on October 23, Cline posted that new free models are available in Cline. The list, as Cline wrote it, is:

  • Reflection Beam (501B)
  • Nemotron 3.5 Super VL (120B)
  • Poolside Laguna S 2.1 (118B)
  • Nemotron 3.5 Lightning (32B)
  • Solar Mini 4 (35B)

In the same post, Cline said that six months ago these Terminal-Bench scores were frontier, and that open weights make that capability more accessible. That Terminal-Bench framing is Cline's claim. DigIntoAI has not verified the scores or the timeline, and we have not tested these models inside Cline.

For prior DigIntoAI notes on models on the list, see Reflection AI Beam 1.0 and Nemotron 3.5 Super VL and Bolt. For recent Cline product coverage, see Cline Desktop cloud parallel tasks. Beam has also appeared in a limited free offer elsewhere; see OpenCode Beam 1.0 free. There is no DigIntoAI article yet on Solar Mini 4 or Poolside Laguna S 2.1.

We have not tested the free access Cline announced.
