On October 22, 2026 (Beijing time), Replit published a blog post by Akram Hussein and Carl Cortright announcing Monitoring Agent. The post describes it as an autonomous on-call for apps already published on Replit: when a production alert fires, the agent can investigate, make and validate a fix, then email what happened and what changed.
Replit says Monitoring Agent can read production logs and metrics, so it has context for errors, slowdowns, and failed deployments without digging through logs by hand. With alerting and auto-fix on, it gets notified, investigates, validates a fix, and emails a summary. With auto-publish on, it can deploy that validated fix to production—whether fixes go out automatically is up to you.
Earlier this year Replit launched App Monitoring for production health checks and downtime alerts. Monitoring Agent is the next step: not only knowing what broke, but trying a fix. Per the post: publish the app, open Publishing settings, and turn on monitoring alerts and auto-fix; turn on auto-publish if you want validated fixes deployed automatically.
This is about production on-call for published apps. It is not the same as changing which model powers Replit Agent by default. As for how reliably it investigates and ships fixes on your apps—we don’t have that information yet. If you’ve used it, you can send feedback through the site-owner contact link in the footer.
