Tibo (social account @thsottiaux) announced a 28-day iteration plan on X: every day for the next four weeks, the team will either roll out one clear, practical improvement for most Codex/Work users, or perform a full reset, adding “Let the improvements begin.”

He quoted his own earlier post from October 4 to clarify the team’s current work scope: right now they are only working on four categories: simplifying workflows, boosting efficiency across more use cases, building groundbreaking features, and developing new models. He noted that while it is sometimes necessary to invest ahead of the curve, user feedback is clear that most people want the product to be simpler to use.

Several public user replies appear below his post in the screenshot. One user complained that they had explicitly approved the same API test multiple times, but Codex kept rejecting their consent when moving between chats, leaving them stuck in hours of approval loops instead of making progress; the agent even asked for confirmation in a desktop chat they could not access from their iPhone, which they said defeats the whole point of an AI agent.

Another critical user said the team was offering nothing of value, that the reset was only useful for Codex/Work users, and that the announcement felt like filler content. A third user noted that interest in these resets is far lower than it used to be, and said they no longer want to renew their GPT subscription even with a one-month grace period.

The original post does not define what “full reset” specifically refers to in terms of operation scope, target, or implementation, so its actual impact will only become clear as future updates are released.
